Welcome to St. John's, the Parish Church for Walmley, and our church plant in Minworth! We extend a warm welcome to everyone from the local area and beyond, inviting you to join us in worship. Our aim at St John's is to be God’s community, in the community and for the community. We worship God from within the midst of the community: not standing apart, but seeking to engage and involve all, from the youngest to the oldest.
Our Prayer for 2024
Each year we write a prayer we pray together as a church, asking God for the wisdom and grace to carry it out. 2024’s prayer is based on Colossians 1:15-23.
Our Vision
The St John’s Vision Action Plan is our focus of life and worship and ministry in the parish of Walmley, at the plant in Minworth and with the aim of doubling and planting again into the new Langley Development.
Our Plan
Each area has been thought about, prayed over and carefully crafted with love and hope. The four areas are: Discipleship, Worship, Evangelism, Fellowship/Hospitality.
