Church Weekend Away 2026

A weekend away together  

We’re really excited to share plans for a Church Weekend Away in September 2026 — and we’d love you to be part of it!

We’ll be heading to Cloverley Hall in beautiful Shropshire from 18–20 September 2026 for a weekend of time together as a church family — with great teaching, worship, laughter, good food, and space to relax and enjoy one another’s company.

Our theme for the weekend will be “Unstoppable: Joining God’s Gospel Movement.” Together we’ll explore how God’s mission continues to move powerfully in the world today — and how we can be part of it.

We’re delighted that Chris Howells will be our guest speaker. Chris is Director of Cross-Cultural Training at Oakhill College. Until 2023 he and his wife Ros served at Uganda Martyrs Seminary with Crosslinks, and many at St John’s will remember them warmly as our Mission Partners.

It promises to be a really encouraging and faith-building weekend together.
