New Youth & Worship Minister

Jon writes:

'For the last 2 years, I’ve been a music teacher for primary school children, teaching them how to play in rock bands. I have a degree in music performance and recording from the University of West London, where I then did a youth work internship at a church.

I then moved to North Wales, where I’m originally from, and attended Bible College to dig deeper in my faith. After getting married to the wonderful Gracie at St John’s, Walmley, I moved to Nottingham, where we currently are.

After a lot of praying, we felt God’s calling to move back to Walmley and to St John’s and serve the community and the church through the youth work and worship.

I’m so excited to get started and be part of what I can clearly see is an amazing family of God.'

Please continue to pray for Jon and Grace as they get ready to move. Jon's 'official' first Sunday will be on the 25th of February, but you may well see them around before then!
